Lawn Fertilizer

What is Lawn Fertilization?

A healthy, vibrant lawn begins with proper fertilization. For soil to produce thick, lush grass, it must contain essential nutrients—primarily nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. These key elements are just as important to your lawn as sunlight and water.

Over time, grass naturally draws nutrients from the soil. Applying a high-quality fertilizer replenishes those nutrients, encouraging stronger root development, richer color, and fuller growth. Routine fertilization also helps your lawn become more resistant to weeds, drought, and everyday wear.

Our Fertilization Program

Our comprehensive fertilization program includes four applications per season, running from March through mid-September, with visits scheduled every 4–5 weeks. Each treatment is carefully timed to support steady growth and optimal lawn health throughout the active growing season.

To complete the program, we apply a winter fertilizer in late fall, just before the ground freezes and after top growth has slowed. This winterizer strengthens the root system and allows nutrients to be stored over the colder months, resulting in a quicker green-up and a thicker, healthier lawn in spring.
